Hello, and welcome to Bayfield Social Work.
I am an Accredited Social Worker with over 19 years of experience supporting older adults to navigate the aged care system. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand how complex, overwhelming, and isolating the aging care sector can be for both older adults and their families.
My professional background includes extensive work in advanced psychosocial assessment, care coordination, and advocacy for older adults who experience barriers to accessing services. I am a current member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and a selected member of the AASW Aged Care Working Group, where I assist in developing national aged care social work resources.
I founded Bayfield Social Work to provide the clarity, strong advocacy, and emotional support people need to regain control and live a life they truly value.

With my advanced knowledge of the interface between Commonwealth Home Support Program and the Support at Home Program and other low cost and free community services- I am here to cut through the red tape. My services are fully funded through your Support at Home package as Social Work sits under the Clinical Care category, meaning $0 out-of-pocket co-payments for you.

In addition to client care, I am deeply passionate about workforce capability and upskilling the next generation of social workers. The aged care sector is incredibly complex, requiring a unique blend of systemic navigation, trauma-informed care, and high-level clinical reasoning.
Drawing on over a decade of leadership experience—including serving as an Acting Program Manager and Senior Case Manager at the Brotherhood of St Laurence, and Team Leader at the City of Greater Dandenong—I offer professional mentoring and clinical supervision tailored to your career goals.
I am supporting Social Workers looking to diversify into the aged care sector and provide the opportunity to network with other social workers through my webinars and group supervision options.
My supervisory and training experience includes:
Workforce Development: Designing and delivering training on My Aged Care system navigation and the Support at Home Program and the role of Social Workers
Clinical Supervision: Providing guidance, supervision, and performance support to Social Workers. Both Group Supervision and Individual Supervision is available.
Complex Case Guidance: Supporting practitioners with risk assessment, mitigation (including elder abuse, hoarding, and suicide risk), and transdisciplinary allied health practice.
